Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Circledit ("the Service", "we", "us") is an AI-powered image editing service operated by the operator of Circledit. By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. What the Service does
Circledit lets you upload images, annotate regions, and generate edited versions of those images using third-party artificial-intelligence models. Generated images are predictions by an AI system: results may vary and are not guaranteed to match your instructions exactly.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions, payments, and refunds
- Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions through our payment provider (a Merchant of Record), which handles checkout, taxes, and invoicing.
- Each plan includes a monthly quota of image generations ("edits"). Unused edits do not roll over unless stated otherwise.
- You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: within 14 days of a charge, email hello@circledit.com and we will refund that charge, no questions asked.
- We may change prices with at least 14 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
5. Your content and ownership
- You keep all rights to the images you upload. You must own or have permission to use them.
- You own the edited images the Service generates for you, to the extent permitted by applicable law, and may use them commercially.
- You grant us a limited license to store and process your images solely to operate the Service (including sending them to third-party AI providers for processing).
- We do not use your images to train AI models.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create or edit content that:
- is illegal, or infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- is sexually explicit involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery of any person;
- is designed to deceive — including fake documents, forged evidence, or misleading imagery of real people without disclosure;
- promotes violence or harassment against individuals or groups.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
7. Service availability
The Service depends on third-party AI providers and is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. During early access, features may change or be discontinued.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for how you use generated images.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new Terms.
